Brent the bright green frog had a plan. He wanted to fly across the blue sky.
"Brent!" called Clyde the crab. "What's that strange thing on your back?"
Brent grinned. "It's my flying machine! I glued three plastic spoons and two straws together!"
Clyde clicked his claws. "Frogs can't fly, Brent."
"Not true!" Brent said. "I'll prove it! I just need to jump from something tall."
Brent and Clyde trudged up the steep hill. Brent's flying machine clunked and clanked as he hopped.
At the top, they met Flo the fly.
"What's that crazy thing?" Flo asked, spinning around Brent's head.
"It's my flying machine," Brent explained. "I'm going to glide down this hill!"
Flo fluttered her small wings. "Can I watch?"
So Brent stood at the edge of the hill. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"Three... two... one... BLAST OFF!" he shouted.
Brent jumped and spread his arms wide. For a split second, he flew!
Then... SPLASH! He landed right in a small pond!
Clyde and Flo scrambled to the edge. "Are you okay?" they called.
Brent popped up from the water with a big smile. On his head was a crown made of grass and small flowers!
"I found treasure at the bottom of the pond!" he croaked.
Clyde and Flo stared in shock. Then they all started to laugh.
"Next time," said Brent, "I'll try to fly with breakfast trays!"
